The Sub-Atomic Green Matter Muzzleloader is throwback in design juxtaposed with the latest in technological advancement. This fanciful weapon is powered by the good professor's Sub-Atomic liquid Green Matter concoction: A handy black power and pyrodex substitute which offers a number of advantages primarily including reduced sensitivity, reduced fouling and increased efficiency. It is also quite tasty in mixed drinks.

Professor Tursiart's Ray Pistols & Accoutrements
Are unique prop weapons and gadgets made from repurposed and found objects, with body casts of genuine simulated metals. Sporting the latest in fictitious technology from tomorrow's yesteryear and the future that never was; these pistols are fashioned in an amalgamative style of steampunk, sci-fi, and retro-future aesthetics. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art, handcrafted by Professor R. Tursiart herself.

~Incoming Transmission from Rose ~

I made this for the 2010 Riverside Prom in Space. Riverside Prom is a yearly art show and adult dance held in Riverside, California with outrageous themes and costume prizes. I had 9 Ray Pistols and two large Sci-Fi paintings on display for about a month at the venue.

This later sold for $195 the 2010 San Diego Comic Con art auction.

Occasionally, some of my ray pistols make it into my etsy store, here: [link]

I could do something similar. The problem is that parts of this are random vintage bits that I only had one of so I couldn't duplicate it exactly. I do plan to create some very similar ones soon though. :)
